Rifles can be rimfire or centerfire. Precision bench
rest shooting at 1 MOA ‘FLY’ targets: 50 & 100 yards for rimfire / 100
& 200 yards for centerfire. Competitors may use any rifle, including
bipods, bags, sleds, etc.
Bring your cased rifle, 20+ rounds of ammunition, eye
& ear protection, chamber flag, plus any other range gear you might need.
Timings: 6:00pm – set up, 6:15pm – 1st
relay starts, all shooting stops 5 minutes prior to sunset and clean-up begins.
Outlaw Rimfire Precision Series (ORPS): April 17, May 08,
29, June 19, July 10, 31, August 21
Rimfire rifles only. Shooting from various
rests/positions, with time limitations and using 22LR rifles, at reactive steel
targets from 25 to 100 yards. Shooting is static with dynamic movement to
change rests/positions during each stage. Slings, bipods and shooting bags are
allowed.
Bring your cased 22LR rifle, 50-100 rounds of
ammunition, eye & ear protection, chamber flag, plus any other range gear
you might need. Recommend at least 2 magazines.
Timings: 6:00pm – set up, 6:30pm – 1st
relay starts, all shooting stops 5 minutes prior to sunset and clean-up begins.
Precision Rifle Series (PRS): April 24, May 15,
June 05, 26, July 17, August 07, 28
Centerfire rifles only. Shooting is from various
static rests/positions, with time limitations, at paper targets. Slings, bipods
and shooting bags are allowed.
Target distance and
difficulty will vary each week.
Bring your cased centerfire rifle, 20+ rounds of ammunition,
eye & ear protection, chamber flag, plus any other range gear you might
need. Recommend at least 2 magazines.
